Today, November 30, 2021, people all around the world are coming together to give to charities and efforts that support our communities. Will you be one of them? We humbly request your support. Tap into the power of human connection to strengthen communities and change our world.

As 2021 marches on, we are facing and overcoming new challenges every day. Not G3CS alone, but all of us as a community. We challenge you to stay strong and to continue paving a way forward. Welcome to the G3CS monthly newsletter. We are excited to have an opportunity to share with you all we have going on this month!

Happy New Year from G3CS! The beginning of the year is always a mix a reflection and hope. Thinking back on one of the hardest years in recent memory for so many in and around our community, we are also filled with hope at the prospect of a New Year. We are hopeful that 2021 will bring peace, unity, and a whole new set of challenges to step up to. We hope to be side by side with you throughout this new year. We are hoping to see a return to some of our foundational programs like EYM and EYM Sunday in 2021, and we’ll continue our partnerships with some amazing area people and businesses. 2020 made us all refocus and reimagine much of how our time and effort is spent. We look forward to learning from those lessons, strengthening those relationships, and meeting the needs of our community. We hope you’ll step up to the challenge as well; to make the community better, stronger, and more unified then ever before.

We remain inspired by the words and deeds of Martin Luther King Jr. As torch bearers of justice and equality, we remain solid in the spirit of inclusion and peace. The road to righteousness is seldom easy and it is often overgrown. While we individually and collectively have forged our own paths away from our destination, we can; and together we must, find our way back to the trails of forgiveness, progress, empathy, and love for one another.

“SLAYED” Movie Premiere Fundraiser!

G3 Community Services invites you to a one night only VIRTUAL MOVIE PREMIERE FUNDRAISER!

Wednesday December 16th, G3 Community Services has teamed up with actor/producer/director Jim Klock and Code 3 Films to present “Slayed.”

Come and enjoy an amazing charity event that will give you a sneak peak at the latest film from Code 3 Films BEFORE it premieres for streaming on Amazon Prime!

All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to G3 Community Services in order to provide Christmas gifts to families in our community that need a little extra help this year. This is the second year in a row that G3 Community Services has partnered with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department for this event.

Welcome to the G3CS monthly newsletter. We are excited to have an opportunity to let you know all we have going on this month!

Happy November! We hope you and your family are finding some normalcy as we continue to work together during this coming Holiday season. While students are returning to schools either virtually or in person, we are still certainly missing our EYM students and the opportunities to serve our county schools. We look forward to returning soon, and we have some exciting news to share regarding EYM. We are actively pursuing community partners and resources to continue our programs soon! More great news below.

G3CS Awarded Financial Grant from Sheehy Toyota!

We are excited to announce a recent grant award from Sheehy Toyota of Stafford! This represents the largest grant award in G3CS history, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that it comes from a business right in our community of Stafford. This award will go straight to purchase of more technology and resources for our Extraordinary Young Minds program. We are incredibly humbled and thankful to Sheehy Toyota of Stafford for believing in our mission and joining us in improving lives in Stafford. This truly is an example of together we can do more.

G3CS was happy to partner with the Migrant Kitchen for this years Feed the polls effort. We were able to facilitate 1,000 meals given away at four polling locations this November 3rd. The migrant Kitchen does fantastic work to raise awareness to food insecure families and the importance of fresh healthy sustainable eating. IN THE NEWS:

On Monday November 23, G3CS and the Stafford County Sheriff’s office teamed up to deliver over Thanksgiving meals to those in need in our community! This is the second year in a row we have partnered with the Sheriff’s department. In this season of giving thanks, we are so happy and proud of our partnership with the Stafford County Sheriff’s office. This year has been hard on so many, but we are still working together to make a positive impact in Stafford! We look forward to many more partnership and a lot of goodwill in the future. Keep an eye out for our December toy drive where we will team up again with the Sheriff’s office to provide for those in need.

G³ Community Services Awarded $10,000 Grant from Sheehy Toyota of Stafford

Stafford, Virginia – G³ Community Services (G³CS) is proud to announce its largest grant to date – a $10,000 grant awarded by Sheehy Toyota of Stafford.

G³CS Founder & Chairman Vernon Green Jr. says, “After briefing the Stafford Rotary Club and several other organizations active here in Stafford, Ms. T.J. Walding shared some of the great things we do for our community with Mr. Shaun Lumpkin. Mr. Lumpkin, in his official capacity as HR for Sheehy Toyota, made the connection to Mr. Michael Wright, General Manager of Sheehy Toyota. We are happy to work with a company contributing directly to the needs we have here in our community. We hope to continue this partnership long into the future.”

G³CS Executive Director Jonathan Shores says, “We are so humbled and excited that such an award was received by a company within our community of Stafford. This award will go towards the purchase of zSpace machines to improve our EYM programs; bringing more resources to our Stafford County students!”

Welcome to the G3CS monthly newsletter. We are excited to have an opportunity to let you know all we have going on this month!

Happy New Year! We at G3CS are so exciting to start 2020 off with a bang! After taking a couple of weeks of the start the New Year, we are very happy to bring Extraordinary Minds back to our Stafford County Schools. EYM has begun in both Hampton Oaks Elementary and Garrisonville Elementary. We have already met some amazing students, and we are expecting big things from our EYM kids this year. As always, EYM is made possible with the support of our partners at Youth Technology Network and the Geek Squad from our local Best Buy store.

Our first EYM Sunday is coming soon! January 19th from 4pm-6pm at the Stafford Hospital. Students of all ages and their families are welcome to check out the activities we have this month. We’ll see you there!

G3CS is happy to welcome our newest team member, Chris McMillian. Chris comes to us from Richmond, VA. A former high school and college athlete, Chris graduated from Randolph-Macon college with a passion for mentoring youth. We are excited to have Chris join our team. He brings great enthusiasm and excitement to our EYM workshops, and he looks forward to furthering our mission of making a positive impact in our community. You’ll see Chris at our EYM Sunday workshops and community events. Be sure to welcome him to the team!

Happy Thanksgiving Stafford

We at G3 Community Services along with members of the GCubed Inc. team, and officers from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office are excited to share photographs and video of the team delivering Thanksgiving meals to those in need in our community. We are so honored to be part of the Stafford, VA community, and we are thrilled to be able to team up with all of the amazing people in it to give back to those who truly need it.

Welcome to the G3CS monthly newsletter. We are excited to have an opportunity to let you know all we have going on this month!

Fall is in full swing and our programs are as well. We have wrapped our EYM program at two schools, Spotswood Elementary and Hampton Oaks Elementary, and we have begun our last schools of 2019, Margaret Brent, Conway Elementary, and Rockhill Elementary!

Please check us out at our EYM Sunday workshop in November! EYM Sunday meets at the Stafford Hospital on Sunday, November 17th. This month we’ll welcome the Future Kings, Best Buy’s Geek Squad, Cyber’s Future, and many more volunteers leading students through interactive learning activities.

We are also very excited to announce some of our new programs that we’ll be launching in the New Year. Stafford Middle School is hosting our pilot program of EYM- Middle (or EYM2). EYM2 is our character development workshop that takes place before school at Stafford Middle. As we expand our program, we are looking forward to working with middle school students in Stafford.

Additionally, we’ll be partnering with cybersecurity/IT leader GCubed and Cyber’s Future, a local cybersecurity training company, to pilot a cybersecurity class at North Stafford High School. Slated to begin in January 2020, we are looking forward bringing this program to NSHS and beyond soon.

At G3CS we value our community, and it is our mission to serve those in need wherever possible. In the season of Thanksgiving we are so grateful for the generosity of those who partner with us on a regular basis. From giving donations for our events and programs to every volunteer that teams with us to show and share their passion for those around us. We are so thankful for the school teachers, counselors, and administrators who welcome our EYM program into their schools, and for the students who participate and bring so much imagination, joy, and hope for bright futures.

In partnership with those around us that share our vision and desire to serve Stafford, we are happy to announce that we are preparing 25 Thanksgiving dinners to our neighbors this season. In addition, we are donating to partner with Rocking Nissan of Stafford in their effort to provide 300 meals to local veterans in need. We could not be happier to show our gratitude to all of you by helping those among us who are truly in need. This is just another example of how “together, we can do more.” THANK YOU!!!
